Whenever I open Serato ITCH, my CPU load goes off the chart (with and without hardware connected).I have an Intel Core i5, so that must be enough to run ITCH, no?

On my desktop computer (Intel Core i7) the CPU use is only 10%. Is this normal? And is there a way to fix it?

I have tried all the 'speed up your computer' support topics, none help.

Its really annoying since all the analysis of files has to be done on my desktop computer, and then transferred to my laptop. Since I add a lot of songs (as a starting DJ), that's a pain in the ass...

Ok fixed it on my own, i had a program called MIDI YOKE installed (for using my cellphone as a remote), i removed it and the CPU is at 30% now with hardware connected. Thanks anyway!
