I have this Hookah bar that wants to go ahead and pull the trigger on Video DJing. I am the guy thats going to have to do Perform, and install.

Question.

Will splitting my 1 video feed into 6 (6 Flat Screens) hurt the quality of the picture?

What will I need exactly?

I have a 2009 MBP and not sure what kind of adapters/converters I need to send the video signal.

Your help will greatly be appreciated !

VGA is probably the cheapest and least problematic.

No offense, but it doesn't sound like you are qualified to do the install....

Especially as that is not even a Mini DVI port on your MacBook Pro.

Get a qualified installer.

how do they feed signal to the scren now.
you should just have to plug into that system.

I've been doing AV for 27 years
what you want to do is not hard.

I think the clarification of whether it's a mini display port or mini dvi needs to be addressed. Also what signal inputs do the TVs have and how far away are they from the DJ booth?

Im thinking he talked them into adding video to secure a gig and offered to install as part of the job. mini dvi lol.

personally, i use Kramer devices.

you may be able to go with something as simple as; mini-display-vga to a distro...
but distance may be an issues as well as type of port on tv,
