CPU IS AT 100% without track and with track playing

My PC has the correct processor, ram, fresh windows 7 64 install with nothing running in the background. OS completely stripped down, no anti virus software, no power saving or screen saver, USB has constant power, no other USB devices plugged in. I swapped the USB cable and tried every port. My CPU meter is always at 100% all the time. Serato takes about a min to boot up and recognize the hardware and I'm getting dip outs in audio as well as when I'm working the platter. I never had these issues with my VCI300, also when I installed the VCI 380 I uninstalled Itch and all Vestax drivers and am running the most current driver off Vestaxs web site.

What do I do next? Please help

i thought I heard that 64-bit was not compatible with the VCI300

I work for Guitar Center and was hooked up with a copy of the software DL code and it wouldn't DL. When I have the extra cash I'll see about getting the software. Kinda sucks because I got this unit from Vestax to demo at all the Guitar Center Grand Openings and I can't use it.

I DL Serato Dj, same issue, processor pegged at 100%. I'm at a complete loss.

I believe Aaron was going to help you privately via email if you had issues with the trial being activated. Did you manage to successfully do this?

I can continue to assist you with the CPU meter issue here.

Firstly, if you DON'T have any controller connected at all, does the CPU meter sit really high as well or no? Im guessing no, but would like to double check.

Also, can you please provide me with your complete computer specs? serato.com

Do you have any other USB devices connected to your computer?

I am having exact same problem with my vci380. I have a MacBook Pro with latest upgrade and 8gb RAM but the CPU usage is the problem when controller connected.
