Snap/Quantize for cues is on our to-do list for sure. We've actually been discussing recently how best to implement this. As always we can't give out timeframes but just thought I'd let you know that it's on the cards and you will most likely get this in a future release :)

The chances of seeing Tremolo and Braker effects in Serato DJ are very very good. New FX are not far off :)

Logan D thank you for responding to my discussions on here. I would really love it if you take the time to look at some of the other feature requests I made a discussion for yesterday and today... namely:

1. new fx (obviously),

2. KEY CHANGE (without changing tempo) knob or control of some sort, honestly I would take anything as long as it allows me to transpose the song (this is the biggest deal breaker for me actually)

3. preview track ability in the browser/library so I don't have to load a deck and cue it in order to hear it and test if I even need/want to use it.

4. Autofade

5. on the fx, we should be able to dry/wet all three effects (honestly I don't care about this one as much.

4 & 5 are not as important to me, but the first three seem like the most crucial differences between this and rival software. I would like to see Serato DJ succeed and break through these barriers since its got such a beautiful piece of pioneer hardware and of course the upcoming ns7ii... Obviously this hardware is of an exceptionally better build quality than the s4 but what's more important on a digital dj controller anyways ;)?

PLEASE Quantize is really needed. Just like the traktor feature.
I don´t want to use traktor for sure as I have a DDJ-SX, so i hope this most wanted feature is implemented in next update.

Huge failure not including snap and quantize in the initial release. There is no excuse for overlooking such essential features, especially with pads dedicated to triggering samples as with the DDJ-SX. Also being unable to move loops forward and back is mind boggling. With these features Serato would be able to make a strong case against Traktor... Without them it just leaves the platform short of greatness.

We are not mad about Serato :D but even with practice, this can be a usefull features.

With practice, we don't need waveforms, BPM display, duration, cue point and many more... but I'm sure you still want to keep them.

I see what you're saying and yes it makes life easier but some people making threats of leaving and such, are really uncalled for, I mean really......

To hammer out a drum beat or pattern with the cues is something that is pretty fun an acapellas where I jump around the vocals. It's good for jumping into tracks while mixing, skipping out intros, breakdowns etc.

It can be used in so many creative ways, and yes, is a must in this day and age of software.

While a track is rolling out live, even the best DJ couldn't 100% put faith in hitting a cue point in EDM and not have some chance it will sound like boots in a dryer.

Can you also make it auto select a song, auto mix, read the crowd, and make me get paid? Come on, these are features that should have been implemented from version 1.0. I know these features weren't included at the time of my purchase, but I bought your product anyway, and I am going to move to Rekordbox if I don't see them implemented. I mean really guys, your product is so 2012, and I don't care if I can now do 100 more things that I couldn't do last year, you really need to step it up. As far as I'm concerned, your product is lacking seriously because it hasn't evolved at the pace I think it should have. That's it, I'm done with your product. Pioneer, here I come.....
