I downloaded the trial version of Ableton to test how Bridge can enhance my mixes. (*Only version 9 is available for trial*) When I open the plugins after running Ableton and Serato, the Bridge is not available from the list. Am I missing a step here? Or this combination that I have just CAN'T make Bridge work?

Thanks in advance!

You can't, (I don't think). I pretty sure you must own ableton before the bridge will enable. I know it wont work with any trial, lite or controller specific version.

If I'm wrong though here are the step. or also follow these steps if you purchase Ableton.

1. Launch Ableton.
2. Minimize it.
3. Launch Scratch Live
-- Ableton button should be visible.
4. Navigate to the plugins tab (inside setup) first and enable the bridge.
-- beat grids and als now become available.
5. Close the setup window
6. Click the Ableton button and open the "The Bridge" window.
7. Go back to Ableton and load up your live set.
8. Go back to Scratch.

Thanks for an immediate response. Please see attachment...
I will try to follow the steps. If nothing happens, I think the message on the attachment is NOT true anymore with Ableton 9.

Hi 938MyDJ,

Thanks for pointing that out, i've now fixed it.

Although Live 9 is not supported with Serato just yet so, i'm unsure if the problem is related to that that. However, Live 9 (non trial) does work with Serato.

We are still working on supporting it, no set date on that yet.

As Ableton has not made an older trial version available i'm unsure how you can try it without purchasing the full version.
