How can i delete a crate without deleting the file itself....Like i want to delete all of my crates in serato and re do my whole crate configuration with the music on my hard drive! However i dont want to delete my crate, then go to play the music on my hard drive and find that the original source is not there!

Hello Serato users, I have been using Virtual Dj with Numark Mixdeck, and It works petty good for me. My question is I am thinking of making the transition to Sarato and i want to know if anyone knows if the Serato Hardware will enable the Numark Mixdeck to communicate with the Serato Software?

yes it will in alternative mode infact i just started using serator 1 week ago it works with mixdeck using time code cd the midi works also but the platter will not work in midi so you will need to use it in cd mode. when you start using serato you will see a lot of different not as easy as vdj

I had the same question a few months ago. I also used mixdeck with Virtual and I love it, The only down side is the page and fonts not too many options to enlager the page and select at the same time. In addition i can't set the font size. One plus for Virtual is you can play in Midi mode with no prob, and the connection is just one cable form the mixdeck to the laptop. On the other hand serato requires hardware and cables which ristricts one to play the platters from midi mode. Any way yes i have made the transition to serato and i use time code cds which are pretty good i love it, but too many wires. The next best thing is the NS7
