Program frezees while playing music .

When I'm playing music with my NS7 with the program itch and with my laptop it tends to freeze up for seconds. And when it freezes up MIDI with a red circle apears in the corner. I wanted to know what causes this to happen and how I can fix the problem.

Hi Zapata93,

Usually this means there is an interuption in the midi connection, are you using a hub? have you got the right drivers and firmware for the ns7?

What is hub ? And what are the right drivers to use ?

Like a USB hub for multiple usb ports. Here is a link to the latest drivers for Numark NS7 - www.numark.com

I did what you had told me about the USB hub and it still does the same thing. I also bought a new NSFX to see if the problem was NS7 but it still gives me the same problem with the NSFX. Do you think whats causing the problem is the computer ? And do yuo know where i can get help in Chicago ?

I'd try running through the optimisation steps here - serato.com

Also try running a DPC trace report too and i can have a look at it -
