I-tunes playlists or Scratchlive crates?

What format is your external drive?

okay.. scratch itunes playlists. It shows the crate name but there is no songs in the itunes playlist. It will eventually work but its a pain in the but.. I gotta keep restarting the program..

I use lepard on macbook..

i use the latest version of scratch live 1.8.2

the latest version of itunes itunes 8

one touch 4 mini i use for a hard drive 160

Have you rescanned the ID3 tags and then built overviews in Scratchlive yet?
Sounds like there is a lag for you when loading tunes. Is your external drive formattted "fat32"?

how do you find out what format it is? Im rescanning all id tags now and i already built an over view for all my songs. I do that anytime i get new tracks....

my external says its format is Mac OS Extended ( Case Sensitive, Journaled) When i click on it and go to get info..

good job on the overviews, that is crucial to keeping the system running well.

I asked about fortmat because the FAT32 format has a known slow load time with Mac. You are using Mac journaled which is what we would recommend for your HD if only using Macs.

Did you have this issue with any previous versions of I-tunes? This is a new one and there are usually a few things that get tweaked from version to version. This hasn't been out long enough to really give a proper testing. We normally don't recommend upgrading I-tunes for a good minute.

I really appriciate the help.. I think maybe rescanning the id tags may have helped alot...
