Good day to all! I am trying to figure out how to accomplish getting all of my files tagged with their BPM info from SSL to iTunes. All of the files that I want tagged are WAV files and don't know if that has anything to do with it. When I build an overview, it tags it with the correct BPM but then when I close out of SSL and open iTunes the BPM info is not there. Can this be done? Am I doing something wrong? Any input or help is very much appreciated.

Wav files are the "problem." Wavs do not have ID3 tags like MP3s do. Wavs can store metadata, but typically it's not cross compatible with other programs. So the BPM will show fine in SSL, but not in iTunes, or visa versa. So, you're going to have to manually write the BPM for each song in iTunes. Sucks, but not much else you can do, except use mp3s or aac files.

Thanks for the info. If I input the info from iTunes SSL reads it without a problem. I was trying to figure out how to get iTunes to read SSl's BPM field without having to manually type each one in. They are the same field. It sounds like this could get detailed.

Konix is right. There is nothing that can be done to fix this.
The problem is that, as Konix said, wave files don't have the same metadata fields.
The reason why SSL can read bpms coming from iTunes is because SSL can read iTunes's database file, which has that info, and then add that info to the bpm field in SSL.

iTunes, however, doesn't work the same.
