so my macbook just packed er in bout an hour ago, who knows the support people told me to send it in for repair, they couldnt fix it over the phone... but i need dj on Sat w/ video..sooooo is it possible to borrow another macbook and install serato w/ the vid app. i know you can just auth 1 comp.... am i screwed? thanks

perfect then i can authorize my buddy's comp for the night then de auth it when im done

not shore but i think you have to deauthorize from you mac before you can authorize for another computer

there has to be a way around it, what if the drive dies or the laptop dies like in djsl's situation.
I would try the install and type in the code and see what happens, it may let you de-authorize the other machine automatically with the new install

sorry i didn't mean to say that he had to de-authorize from that specific mac .......i just meant that i don't think they let you run it on more than one computer but i am not sure..i could be wrong....
but even so i would think he could de-authorize from another computer
