Hi Serato team,

I've had this problem ever since I started using Serato DJ Intro. I've just upgraded to Serato DJ and as it still persists I'm finding it slightly infuriating.

When I plug in my hardware and boot up Serato DJ I always get the flashing message near the top of the software stating that there is no hardware connected.

In order for me to get my hardware (Denon DJ MC2000) working I have to go to the device manager section in my control panel and uninstall the 'USB Composite Device' from my computer. I then restart my computer and when it boots up to Windows 8 I can connect my hardware and Serato will work.

I appreciate any feedback you can give me on this.

Hi Jamie-UK,

Currently we do not support Windows 8 for Serato DJ Intro unfortunately.

DJ Intro minimum specifications - serato.com

However, we are working on new version for supporting Windows 8 but we are not able to tell you actual release date yet.
