Hi there, I'm trying to change genre of songs I've bought in Itch. I can change everything, e.g. Grouping, Key, Comments but whenever I try to change genre it changes back to the Genre which was in the song when I bought it "Other" which isn't really helpful. What I did so far (none helped):
- I repaired disc permissions on my mac (Disc Utilities)
- I changed MP3 version of affected files to 2.4
- I changed MP3 version of affected files to 2.3
- I checked that write permission is there

What else can I do? Thank you!

Here is how to work around this bug: open files in a different mp3 tag editor (e.g. Picard musicbrains) change genre in affected files to something different from "other", lets say "new genre". Go back to itch and e voila, genre is editable now.

Yes, this is known issue. It's been logged and we hope to bring a fix in a future release.

You're right d:raf, this will not be fixed in ITCH. It is also a bug in Serato DJ, we are aware of this and as above, it's been logged and we hope to bring a fix in a future release.

Sorry I should have been more clear about that.
