Well, after reading the few posts about people owning the 57, yet have "no idea" how to use it, got me to thinking I should make some demo videos showing how to use the 57's effects.

So, here's the first of many to come...

Note, make sure you click on "watch in high quality" under the "Views" count, this shows the video in higher quality/resolution so it won't look as fuzzy.

Great tutorial Konix.

I vote for bit crusher as your next one. That's the main one I have trouble with getting to sound right.

Thank you very much for this! I learned alot about that effect from watching your video. The effects are very confusing to me and im still trying to understand them more. I hope u can show some of the echo effects next.

Are you upset that you can now go out and buy a $400 Behringer and a $450 SL1 to have a mixer similar to the 57? Do you think the person who just bought AdamJay's 57 on eBay is pissed? I'd like to see how that Behringer is holding up two years from now. We already know how the Rane will be doing.

You don't beat up a mic mixer like you do to a DJ mixer. Behringer makes a few decent things, like the BCR2000 and the ADA8000 Pro-8, both of which I plan to buy soon. Their DJ Mixers are known only for having gobs of bells and whistles, a cheap pricetag, and faders that last 6 months (if you actually use them). The only people who should be jelious are people who buy this stuff and don't use it.

Let's try to stay on topic here guys. You're more than welcome to discuss my other videos in my other video thread in the Tips & Tricks sections, let's keep this one strictly for the 57's effects. Speaking of which, I should have some new ones up this week, when I get electricity! Still don't have my power at my house, damn Hurricane Ike.

oh wow... I am from Houston originally and still have plenty of friends and family there. It is crazy right now over there. Not sure if you are in Houston but man.. I hate having no electricity makes you think "what did people do in the old days?" ... the answer is in watching re-runs of "little house on the prairie".
