Consolidating files on my external hard drive to my internal hard drive

I just upgraded my hard drive on my Macbook Pro to a 500 GB drive. I've moved all my files to this new drive. But I have some video and music files on my external hard drive that I've been using that I want to copy into my new internal drive so I don't have to use the external anymore.

Should I use the 'Relocate Lost Files Feature' as explained in the support page to achieve this or is there a better way to do this? I saw a tutorial on how to move files from an internal drive to an external but not the other way around. Is it the same process either way?

I don't use iTunes by the way. I have all my files in a folder on my hard drive. Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Basically yeah, just reverse the steps. The same two things apply and need to be done

1) Files have to be in the exact same folder path
2) _ScratchLIVE_ folder on the external drive has to go into your Music folder and renamed just ScratchLIVE with no underscores.

OK thanks I will do that.
