auto bpm and range when analysing files

Hi im new to serato and mixing in general,im very happy with my Denon mc2000 ,but theres one thing that i cant understand although i have tried the forums ,youtube,and the serato user guide,..is the auto bpm tick box, and the different ranges....and the option for none????? whats the difference in them also the difference if i ticked the none option.....whats the difference in each one,as ive tried analysing tracks to each one of them and cant make out the difference to be honest. Hope you can help as im new and the info in the user guide went right over my head...many thanks
forteanc ps i usually play techno and minimal house tempos but i like to go below or above the stated tempo at times :)

Hey Forteanc,

Thanks for getting in touch,

The BPM range setting limits the range of Auto BPM results. Any tune that falls outside of the selected range will get doubled or halved.

If you open SERATO DJ INTRO and click the "?" on the top task bar then hover over buttons / features you are not sure about you will get a box of information pop up. Try it out, its very helpful.

If thats the case I would advise you use "68BPM - 135BPM"
This range I think is best suited to House/Techno etc...
