Hi,

this is not a problem, rather a question, as I'm looking to buy a Twitch controller in the near future.

Is it be possible to plug in a record player (SL1210) into AUX and use the Twitch as an audio interface to rip vinyls into my computer? I can't find any information about the AUX, if there is a built-in preamp and so on.

Thanks,

j.

You can record anything coming through the AUX directly in ITCH, but only there.
Don't know if this is the best way to rip wax though, because you have no visible feedback of volume levels from the AUX. There are probably better solutions for ripping, but it works.

Cheers toi.

I thought I could combine both djing and wax ripping in one device, but if it's only direct-to-itch recording without signal monitoring then I guess I need an extra audio interface.

Alright then, I'll keep looking. The Twitch is still on the list though as it seems to be a perfect controller for me.
