My opinion, Rules of AUTO GAIN...Don't REDLINE your Traxx. Don't REDLINE Equipment. You do that, Your GOLDEN.

How does the dB setting here relate to dBFS? Eg, 0 dBFS is the max digital level. There is a new loudness standard for broadcast, which sets the average level to -23 dBFS. How does the dB setting in SL relate?

Thanks.

That's a great question. I believe the default is -96db in SSL and how that relates to the new dbFS would be nice to know.

I Want to adjust the gain manual and not with default or analyzing. i want to set my gain without "homework" without preparation. If everytime analyze my songs i havent time to mix my songs real time. Why to put gain before mixing my songs? I dont like this feature. The leds to serato dj of my gain its for every song the same... why?

Question: I have analyzed all my tracks, I turned on the the Auto Gain. However, when I play some tracks seem to be way louder than others. Thought Auto Gain Normalizes the volume here?

Am I missing something?

I had this same challenge. If you look on eit her deck there's a gain feature. If those are not aligned this will make the deck with the most gain sound louder

Hey so I’m still a little confused. If my auto gain is on and some of my tracks are clipping and I adjust those tracks with the manual track gain and then close serato; will the auto gain reset the value that I manually changed the next time I open Serato to whatever the auto gain is set to or will it save and store my manual adjustments regardless if the auto gain is on?
DJ Em Nice 5:50 AM - 8 March, 2018
It should save it, that's been my experience with the gains.

The auto gain function is nice but it somewhat interveres with my headphone level. The sound coming out of my headphones is just too low! I'm using a pioneer Dj controller
pipic 3:35 PM - 3 May, 2018
Can anyone help?
