Spring has been the only time iv seen, no definite date yet

It shows that the presenter is doing the demo on the twitch. So the twitch is currently capable of running serato dj but we are not able to use it, likely because of pioneer.

The TWITCH controller is currently not supported as a AUDIO CARD / CONTROLLER for SERATO DJ. You can use it as a MIDI device controller if you have a supported SERATO DJ controller connected.

I call bullshit, at 55 seconds in to the video the twitch is the only connected device.

Have you used SERATO DJ before?

The MIDI panel can only be opened up when you have a generic midi controller connected.
The MAIN controller / audio card does not show up in the MIDI device panel.
Only generic midi controllers show up in the Midi Device panel.

For example: the DDJ-SX when connected unlocks SERATO DJ but the controller doesn't show up in the MIDI Device window.

So I'll keep the twitch to see how Serato DJ works, I upgrade the memory ram from 4 to 8GB on my mbp 13" and now itch is working fine, no more usb drop outs.

I have the TTM57 and I used the Twitch as a midi controller and it shows the Twitch name on the SL setup panel, that could happened in that video, someone using the DDJ-SX and the Twitch as a midi controller right?

Well my Twitch works only like a week with no usb drop outs, but with the time it get worse, to many usb drop outs and crashes.

I am using the Novation Twitch with Traktor Pro 2, it works perfect but i do not like to use Traktor.

Please let me know when Serato DJ will be available for the NovationTwitch, my controller is collecting dust, im very disapponited; the Twitch is the worst dj gear that i have or maybe its Serato Itch...

Usually i use my TTM57, i have a macbook pro with 1TB and 8 GB RAM and everything works perfect.

What have you changed over this week to cause the TWITCH to have issues?

1. Have you added a lot of new music to your ITCH library?
2. Are you plugging your TWITCH into a different USB port?
3. Are you using a wireless USB mouse?
4. Have you got the latest TWITCH audio drivers installed?
--> Novation USB 1.1 driver - Version 2.5 --> d19ulaff0trnck.cloudfront.net

5. Have you tried increasing the ITCH USB buffer size?
-- Launch ITCH
-- Click the SETUP button
-- Navigate to the HARDWARE tab
-- Increase USB buffer to 20MS. Click APPLY.
-- Close the SETUP window

Does this resolve your issues?

Thanks for your help Jamie W, i did what you said and for now everything works fine, anyway i have a question. Theres a way to get the same colors in Itch when you are settings cues, and loops as in Serato SL?
Serato SL goes: Red, yellow, green, sky blue and blue.
Serato Itch goes: Red, orange, blue, yellow and green.
What i want to do is to set my cue points with the twitch and get the same colors that i get when i set my cue points with the TTM57, for me it is important because i use the colors as an ID.
I only use Serato SL "live"
I know Red its a "first beat/intro"
yellow its a transition/in"
green its a "transition/out"
blue its a "loop"
sky blue its an"outro"
But when i set cue points with Itch i get confused because the different colors. I know i can change those colors manual but it takes more time you know.

Hope Serato DJ works as Serato SL i do not like controllers and I only want to use my twitch to set cue points and do all that stuff at home.

A Serato SL app would be awesome too just to do that, you know like the app from Traktor, you guys could make one i'll pay $20 or $30 no problem...

No problem, Im glad to hear everything is working correctly now!

In regards to CUE points. Serato applications (Scratch Live, ITCH, Serato DJ) all label cue points in the same colour order.

RED, ORANGE, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN, PINK, TEAL GREEN, PURPLE.

Scratch Live has a setting in the SETUP menu that allows you to order your CUE points in chronological order.

"The Cue points can be set in any order you like. Tick this option to force the CUE points to be ordered by time (same as Serato DJ). If you un-tick this setting the CUE points will revert to the order in which they were set"



You can use ITCH, Serrato DJ, Scratch Live in OFFLINE MODE. This allows you to organise your music files and set your CUE points / Loops etc...

Yep, can't wait myself - I simply cannot get Itch to work without skipping and popping and moaning about CPU usage. It used to work just fine. i5 with 8gb, so...

Hopefully DJ will solve this.
