I think you're a little confused, the upgrade is the full upgrade only which includes the recording feature. It's still the full $129.

Hey Dj Grga,

Only Scratch Live, ITCH and Serato DJ support recording. Since you have a Serato DJ Intro supported controller you will need to upgrade to Serato DJ to take advantage of the recording feature.

Forgot to mention, Serato DJ does not support external sources recording on pioneer ddj sx.

If you use a Mac, try downloading WavePad to record your mixes, it gives you the option to choose the controller as the input audio source. :)

I have the reloop terminal mix 4 and I would like to know if its possible to number your tracks after recording or while recording. Otherwise, it'll be one continous track without being able to skip to the next track.

No DDJ_SX can record on AIFF or Wave 16 or 24 bits ..

Using DDJ SX and can't get the recording to work. Was working fine for a couple mixes that I did and now it says it's recording but the meter isn't reading anything and the mix comes out as silence. Probably something simple but I need help please!

I'm struggling to get a decent record volume on scratch live sl3, my volume levels seem fine as they are almost hitting the red line but is it the gains on huge software that I need to adjust? Where should these be set?

Or, if you're connected from the controller into the line in input on your Mac, you can use Quick Time Player to record your sets.

Control-Option-Command-N for New Audio Recording

Make sure you're set to Built-In Input - Line In (the arrow next to the Record button's menu box)

Make sure your audio levels don't clip

Record your set (the recording will be in the highest quality m4a format, which you [if you want] can convert to mp3 using iTunes)
