When I open up Itch For Novation TWITCH, my Twitch stops lighting up and the program says "Hardware Disconnected". Obviously none of the buttons are functioning at this point. Then randomly it says "Please do not disconnect your firmware" with a following "There was an error updating the firmware! Error #:-1. Do you wish to try again? Yes/no"
It just doesn't function right and it's really frustrating. Expecting a quick fix.

A little update. It works with Traktor, so I don't suppose it's either the drivers or the Twitch itself. Does nobody have an answer?

Can nobody help me out? I've paid money for this controller and now I can't get to use it because the program that claims to work with it doesn't work.

Hey quaser,

Sorry for the late reply we have had a big backlog which we have been getting through. O.K so you are not getting any power showing up with the TWITCH by the sounds of things but it works in Traktor.
Do you have the latest version of the Serato ITCH software?
Are you using USB 3.0 port on your laptop or USB 2.0?
Are you using a USB hub?

Hey Dave, thanks for the answer.

I have tried using Serato ITCH 2.2.2 and the Serato ITCH For Twitch that came along with the CD. Same thing happens with both of the software.
I am using a built in USB 3.0 port on my laptop, yeah.

This maybe the issue. USB 3.0 and TWITCH. Try the usb 2.0 ports on your laptop or a usb hub (powered).

I now tried reinstalling all the drivers along with the Serato software and installed everything again with the Twitch in a USB 2.0 port - without luck. Exactly the same thing happens.

So still not getting any power?
quaser 10:27 PM - 25 February, 2013
Sometimes some of the buttons light up randomly but it still says "Hardware Disconnected" and the buttons has no functions at all.

I'd say try getting a powered 2.0 USB hub and see if that helps?

So, it's not certain if that will help? I'm a bit bummed about having to go out and pay money for a solution I don't even know if works. I'll try to formate my computer tonight, that might do it.

Let me know how you go, sorry i can't offer a better solution as we only make the software, thats the only other thing i can think of that would help maybe. If the TWITCH is powering on with your computer even when the software open it's most likely controller and computer or related. We'll do our best to help you get there.

Warm Regards
