on the top on left deck and right deck no BPM is showing only tap, And it is glitching up HELP PLEASE

Hey DJBerty,

When you are analyzing tracks in your library and it crashes it usually means you have some corrupt files. Best thing to do if it crashes during the analyzing process. Don't re-open Dj Intro straight, go to Music folder > _Serato_ > click on the file overviewbuilder.log this will have a list of the tracks you have been analyzing in it. The one at the bottom, last one being analyzed will be corrupt. Delete that track from Serato DJ Intro and then straight the process again. Repeat until all corrupt tracks are deleted.

When it freezes, how long does this happen for? Does the audio drop out or just freeze on screen?

Sorry for the late reply. So when it freezes does the audio stop playing?

When the screen freezes do you still get any responsiveness from the Pioneer DDJ-ERGO, or does it freeze also?

Can this happen anytime or does it happen with particular files?

Are you using an external hard drive to store your music?
If so do you know what format it is in? eg. FAT32, NTFS, Mac Journal.

You could try the trial of Serato DJ for free for 14 days. See if it still freeze when using the new upgrade?

Hi, i like the software, But i am not willing to pay $99 to upgrade, because i am happy with DJ Intro, but it it keeps crashing. If you can fix it that would be great, but im am not paying $99 to upgrade.

So files crash program when you analyzed. Bmp's are not showing after analyzing some files. Freezing, Are these the only issues?

Hi, BPM are all fine now. When i do a mix, it crashes during the mix and it comes up with reopen.

Still sounds like corrupt files maybe, does it happen with the same files or different files every time?

Try playing some songs in offline mode, leave it running for a few hours without the DDJ-ERGO plugged in. Test to see if it still crashes.

Import 5 songs which are not corrupt. Leave it to play for an an hour and see if it crashes.

O.K great. I'll explain further.

• Make sure you have close all the programs you have open e.g iTunes, Serato Software.
• Go to the location 'Music' folder. (If this isn't listed in the finder window the you can search for it using the spotlight search at the top left of your Mac desktop.
• Within this folder you should see the _Serato_ folder, rename that folder to _OLDSerato_
• From there go back and then reopen Serato DJ Intro.
• Via the desktop or the 'File' icon in Serato DJ Intro import some songs which don't have the corrupt icon next to them in Serato DJ Intro library tracklist.
• Leave it playing for an hour and see if it crashes.
