when i try playing a song on my computer turntable it spins backwards instead of foward. and when i put the needle on the record it does not play anything at all. i have the reccomended needles so i dont know whats the problem can anyone help please...

Could also be the wiring between the cartridge and the headshell...

if the turntables on the serato screen are going backwards, you have your phone cables backwards going into the serato box. switch them around.
