Is there a way to sink the audio from Serato to the I tunes visualizer and bounce the video back into Serato video to use through the Video output and if not can audio from Serato be sent to I tunes so that it controls the visualizer/

Hi there dj str8,
You can not sync the audio from Scratch Live to the iTunes visualizer. The only way to get a visualizer style video output is to build a custom composition in Quartz Composer.
Quartz composer is quite a tricky program to learn, and is usually helpful to the advanced software user/programmer, but if you want to check it out you can read up on Quartz Composer here > developer.apple.com
Cheers

Ok Thank you. Off hand do you know if you can run audio into I Tunes and use the visualizer or does there have to be a song playing in I Tunes? I have 2 laptops and was thinking of running audio into the second one to trigger the visualizer

I think the audio has to come from the iTunes application itself for the visualiser to work. You can try asking around the Apple forums > discussions.apple.com

Just an update Scott but I found a way to run the I tunes visualizer with an audio input.
Here is a link if anyone is interested in how to do this.

No problem. Now all someone has to do is get I tunes to sync to Serato Video without using Quartz composer and everyone will be happy. lol

Honestly, I know nothing about that program thats why. I might look into how it works. I am going the route of a second computer with either streaming audio to I tunes or a stand alone audio visualizer.

If you really want todo some cool things with visuals it is time to step your game up. :) Look into syphon, what it does and how it works. Look at the programs that it works with. You will find there are many really cool VJ programs that it can work with. I currently run Mix Emergency and Resolume. I set Resolume to take BPM info from my DJ mixer and play clips cool visuals on beat with on beat Effects via ME. I then syphon that video into ME.
