I bought a Terminal Mix 4 that's arrived just today. I've installed the Serato v. 1.0.7 cd on the box. I load the tracks on the decks but when i try to start, buttons, faders, wheels and knobs on the software don't run.
The blue MIDI led on the controller (the one under the red POWER led) lights when I move the , but the software don't recognize no movements except the pitch faders, tap button and fx's buttons.
When I try to check some configuration on the SETUP menu the software crashes.
What is the problem?

Hey I'MSORRYCAT,

Please try updating to Serato DJ Intro 1.0.9 available here:serato.com

Have you tried connecting to all available USB ports on your computer?

Do you have any other USB devices connected to your computer?

Can you please provide me with your computer specs? serato.com

Thanks

Hello.
I tryed to download the latest version and now the software runs with the controller!
I disconnected an USB optical mouse from the pc too, but I don't know if the malfunction is caused from that.
I'm having now a little problem with latency.
What driver you reccomend to use? ASIO4ALL?
I have a PC witch I3 processor 2,13ghz , 4gb RAM, win7 64 bit.
Have you some tips for make the controller run better?
Thank you!

Hey, thats good news.

What do you mean by latency? Lack of responsiveness? Or poor audio quality?

This is a pretty good start to optimization for your computer: serato.com

For latency I mean a lag (i don't know if this is the riight word in english!) of the commands..
Unfortunately are appeared a lot of problems of cracking, popping and other noises during the running of the track and, searching on web, i discovered that is a problem of the controller with my kind of processor.
I tried to resolve the problem but with no success..I'm thinking about changing the console with another model..

Where did you discover there is an issue with that controller and your processor?

Did you try going through our optimization guide?

Are you able to go into the SETUP screen, the move the USB buffer all the way to the right and click "apply" ?

This appears to be an issue that Reloop is investigating. They believe it may be power related and have released a new firmware and driver for TM2/4.

I'm not sure if it works as I've sent mine back for a refund. Really let down by Reloop's support on this device. It was the one i wanted and had all the features but Reloop have sat on this issue for 5 months and only now are starting to address it and take it seriously.

But the experience has put me off Reloop after receiving abuse and being accused of being "stupid" on their forum. I tried 2 different PCs, well within the spec (and one which works fine with an Ergo V and Intro) even on a stripped down clean Windows 7 install and still I had the crackles, pops and slowdown with the TM4.

Various posts from a lot of different users about it on their forums now and they seem to be taking it seriously now but too late for me!

Pioneer here I come.

Reloop still have a long way to do to be at
pioneer and Native instruments level..

Have you guys tried using the new firmware updates?

I'MSORRYCAT, did you try this: Are you able to go into the SETUP screen, the move the USB buffer all the way to the right and click "apply" ?
I'MSORRYCAT 10:53 AM - 16 January, 2013
I tried everything was possible, even moving the USB buffer in ALL the way was possible. Why don't you understand that the controller is natively faulty?
Reloop have not released firmwares for TM4 yet..

Anyway, is too late because I've already started the refund process, so I'll take the controller back and will buy another..
Thank you for the support.

Its possible some controllers could be faulty, but not all TM4s are faulty. We have several here at the office that work great with both Windows and Mac systems.

Its a shame to here, but I can understand your frustration.

I hope the other controller you purchase works out for you. If you do require any further assistance, don't hesitate to return here and post back up!

Thanks :)
