hello all,
I bought a ttm57 a couple of weeks ago and ..yeah, it lives up to the hype. I was a bit distressed though when serato told me pretty much ALL of my files were corrupt. I know they're not as I use them without any problems in other programs. I found some great advice on the forum but forgot to bookmark the page and then couldn't find it again. Anyhow, a bit miffed, I ripped a few new tunes and opened them immediately in serato, built the overviews and they're fine. I then took a few old 'corrupt' tracks, opened them in cool edit and re-saved them to a new folder. I then imported them into serato and they seem fine now. Is this an easy way to fix corrupt files..?! Am I just creating more problems for myself further down the line? Do I really need to re-rip/record all of my tunes? That would take some time...
