This bug is driving me nuts. Sometimes I have to read a post 3 times and more until it is marked as read.
Would be nice if we had a quick fix for this.
Cheers.

If you can work out a way to reproduce it I can fix it faster. As it stands I haven't had it happen to me in maybe a week. Although it does appear to be happening differently from the old forum code, so it may be easier to pin a reproduceable case on it.

The easiest way to reproduce:
Install this plugin for firefox:
addons.mozilla.org
Open multiple discussions in one go.
Only some of those opened discussions will be marked as read.
---
But it also happens without using this plugin.

Hm. The way that plugin works suggests what it might be. Okay, I'm on the trail now. Thanks.

My Firefox says
Not Compatible with Firefox 2.0.0.14
The website says addons.mozilla.org
Version 0.0.4 — September 8, 2007 — 31 KB
Crazy.

It should work fine.
The described bug can also be reproduced if you quickly load multiple threads manually.

Any chance to make the new forums here also appear on the old forums?
It rarely happens on the old forums, happens often on the new forum. I'd stick with the old forums until this bug is resolved.
