US dealer with 57SL & shipping to Japan?

Can anyone direct me to a reputable US dealer with the 57SL in stock?
One caveat: Having recently relocated to Japan, from the US, I am an international customer. The average retail price here in Japan is the equivalent of nearly $2230.00 US. compared to the retail price of $1450.00 at most US retailers, this is INSANE. It makes more sense for me to pay the $150 or so dollars in shipping, as the price will still be lower. I am hopeful that I can find a retailer who is willing to flag the item as "Gift" or a lower estimated value so that I can pay lower import fees.
I have been a longtime Rane customer, most recently owning both a TTM-56 and SL-1 in the US, but it's proving to be difficult to afford the latest offering here in Japan.
Any retailers and advice is appreciated. Thanks.

FYI, it is not allowed for authorized US Rane dealers to sell their stuff outside the US.
Why don't you let a friend buy it for you and ship it by yourself, or let the dealer ship it, as long as the original buyer is from the states this should be fine.

Thanks for your response, nik39. I will likely go the route that you suggested. I am from the US - just happen to be in Japan so I suspect that I can purchase from a retailer and have them ship to a friend's address in the states and then will just have the friend ship it along to me here in Japan. Now... I just need to decide if this button wear issue is worth enduring... maybe back to SL-1 and the Pioneer 909. We'll see.
