Saturday Night during the biggest South African Music Awards afterparty, the right up & down fader decides its not gonna work, though there is sound; it does not work and the signal is low, I just tested it now and I moved the curve switch to fast and the signal is boosted back to normal (the same as the other channel) but the fader's still busted!!!!! called the distributor though, I'm taking it in!

You may be able to fix this one yourself, it sounds like the ribbon cable has come loose from the fader.
Remove the fader knobs and the four screws holding the fader plate on. Lift of the fader plate and you will see the ribbon cable. There is more info in the manual about the faders. => www.rane.com
Doing this won't void your warranty.

funny thing is, it seems it like was the ribbon cable, but I afraid of messing with the warranty! thanks though.

Yeah. We have another member who's cable came loose at a gig.. more than once.

Something needs to be done about these cables, its annoying!
