Phat, that transition that looks like a drip is really a tearing transition right. that is hot but it went by so fast i had to reply and pause it to see it is a tear. thats on point. the vid is smooth but slow down that tearing it's hot and worth to be seen.

well done video, im not normally a fan of predone remix/mashups (I havent downloaded a single one from smashvidz, just singles), but it was good sounding, probably because it was sliced up into a dnb track. Not that i could play it anywhere around here....but it still looked/sounded good.

I actually stumbled on this idea while mixing live. I goof around at times and sometimes it just sounds good. I just thought I should put it down as a completed video form.
Personally... I am not a huge fan of mash-ups. I have heard some of the worst mash-ups ever... not in key, acapella not in time with actual beats, just plain awful ideas, etc.. and I think that style is almost pretty much played out now. Just about any cheesy software out there will allows someone to put two tracks together and export the mp3. Without a real background in production or music theory they make these crappy mash-ups and flood the masses with it. Just junk at times.
So I usually program mainly the ORIGINAL versions during my shows. I will however play PROFESSIONAL dance remixes or some WELL DONE (very selective) mash-ups. It depends on the venue and crowd too.
