virtual decks have discussed millions of times already... but adding another thread...

so everybody always thought about having another deck to play around - what if the deck was locked ?

ok, think about it - everytime we insert an audio cd the program still tries to pick up the signal - that means that the THRU at the SLBOX it's not a closed channel so it goes thru the hardware (yeah.. well.. duh...)

hmmm... i could live with a firmware : )

so after the firmware, it would be great if each 1st or 2nd deck could have LOCKED DECK right beside them - just a PLAY/PAUSE button and an incredible simple waveform just for visuals so we could tell when the file is finishing...

it could use the output from the THRU in the SLBOX and we would sacrifice the normal cds for the output from the LOCKED PLAYER

how do we load the tracks ? the same principle from instant-doubles - the deck is playing, we mimic the mixer and fader up/ fader down - whatever we were playing we don't touch and we get our deck free...

add maybe a tempo slider and ta-dam...

oh well - why not ? another virtual deck sugestion....

I'm guessing the thru outputs are "wired' into the audio card part of the SL1 otherwise this feature would have been implemented already. I they would have to make a sl2 box to do what you're asking
