MIDI Gear

So Serato has MIDI capability now. I have an ESX-1 Drum Machine by Korg I have been using for years. Which midi interface should I buy that is just a 1x1 MIDI interface that I can use to trigger my Drum Machine during live performances?
Is the M-Audio Uno the best one for this application?

Well, first of all there's no MIDI clock out in SSL, so you can't sync the tempo in SSL to the drum machine if that's what you're thinking. SSL is only MIDI input, so you can use the drum machine to control and trigger things in SSL (cues, loops, etc.). But yes, if it only has a 5-pin DIN connection, then you'll need a USB to 5-pin DIN adapter, the M-Audio UNO should do fine.

Ok, thanks. That is sort of what I was thinking. I think I may just wait since there is no real reason to have one at the moment. Since the tempo is going to drift I can always just use the TAP on my drum machine to the beat. Thanks for the help. - MS
