I have found some bugs and have some suggestion.
I would like please as I list them for someone from Serato to answer me if any of those came to your attention and if you plan on some sort of solution

1) Let's say you select a loop on a track, then press the slicer, it keeps the loop and turns into slicer. So far so good. Then, on the same track, trying to select the sampler, turns off the loop and slicer and the track keeps on playing. Why is that? I think it's a bug.

2) Also, two thing about the sampler.
I have all the banks full, all synced to the main master sync.
When i quit the application and restart the app, the first bank is not synced to the main sync.
A bug?

3) On the sampler, let's say you have a loop on bank A, press it to play and loop it. Then trying to change banks (bank B) and trigger a vocal loop, the first sample stops playing, not good!

4) A couple of things about the effects.
It would be good for the app to remember the state of the last selected effects and keep the same when starting the app.

5) Also, very crucial, when you press shift+hot cue to go to the sampler, it should automatically switch to the sampler view, same if you press the shift+fx select, it should automatically switch to the fx view.

6) About playing a track and dragging and dropping it to a sampler, is there a way for that track to keep at least the same volume settings? I know that there are many volume settings on the sampler, but you understand that is crucial for things to run smoothly and not have any volume ups and downs, trying to adjust volume with the mouse etc.

I appreciate if i could have answers to those questions, thank you!

I certainly have come across points 4 and 5 and agree with you and I have a feeling that these points have already been raised

Point 6 - this would be great, if the 'drag to sampler' worked like this it would be extremely valuable to me, essentially I can't use this function at the moment as the tracks I want to drag tend to be the ones I am mixing out and at a reduced volume (and I want to free up one deck for the next track). This would be a major feature improvement

It's crazy that Itch doesn't remember the last used FX settings. Makes you think they don't even dog food their own products in the real world.

It's a small thing but it just shows a lack of the kind of care and refinement that makes Apple so popular.

Basically, If Itch is going to be so unambitious they could at least make it super-refined, solid, bug-free and incredibly optimised for the few controllers on the platform.

You'd think only supporting a few controllers would really narrow their focus to provide a really refined experience at the very least.

Yea its the little things like this that would make you buy again , but to me they take to long to sort anything , so its putting me off and many others i no ,

Hi DJ Kid Stretch,

These are all very good points. As far as answering them all and giving you a timely response to each one, it will be very hard to do in one reply. I would like to see these things fixed/improved myself, So lets keep this conversation going.

I'm going to take note of these issues and run them by our bug list, ask a few people here if they are familiar with them and test them out. Hopefully with time we can get these things sorted in time.

as for the famous jump to loop function that is currently on the VCI-380, a suggestion to make things easier is to have numbers (that represent each loop) that are shown on the waveform's position. let's say you have a loop (loop 1) on minute 1:24, on the waveform it could show on minute 1:24 a faint green color (like it is when you have an inactive loop) and above that maybe the number 1 (the number of the loop), so when you press it, it could jump to that position and loop it.

I'm just curious about question number 2.
When you restart, do you use the first bank as the first thing to sync?

no, i don't thin i do, maybe i'll sync 2 tracks to mix them, then go to the sampler and it would not be synced.

thank you for reviewing those features, i think it would do a lot of good on the way you play with the 380, i keep my fingers crossed to see them on a future update. :)

Great list for improvements! My Number one on the list is saved FX states. It is a pain to set my filers every time restart itch. Especially on the vci-380
