yup... they have yet to fix the mixtape cross fader wackness... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't....

Serato never has answered any of my threads, tweets, facebook posts, blah blah... i'm over it and gave up hope.

(57,61, & 62 mixers) all the same issue.

I have been testing with the mix tape function alot lately and I have noticed some very small delay in the fader movements, I'm going to do some more testing with this.
I can't see your video. Did you forget to attach it? I would love it if you could provide me with some more information regarding what file types you are using and anything else you can provide me with

Just had a similar problem...except for with the volume faders. I don't scratch when I record so not much x fader movement but all my channel fader movements were not even close and on some tracks the actual recorded track was a couple of ticks off so it sounded like it was not beatmatched properly, it took me longer to edit half of it than it did to record it before I gave up. Good thing I used the session out to record to my other computer.

i give up on mixtape.... its one thing to have it delayed... its another to have it matched perfectly and then halfway through the mix it doesn't record all of the fader cuts... so i have all of these "middle, open" fader automations so my fader cuts aren't recorded at all.... Haven't had this issue on the 57 but I have had it on my gf's 61 and my 62z both with the CURRENT firmware..

Serato, can we PLEASE get a word or some idea of hope of this crap being fixed, my patience has been long gone.... really has, and I try to keep things professional... I have purchased my Live copy FOR MIXTAPE only......

I've done some more testing with this and there is a latency issue for sure, I'm making this a bug and gonna push for this to be developed.
I'm aware this is important to all of you. Me too.
I'd like to know Riddim if you can confirm that you don't have this issue with the TTM57

he sold his TTM 57SL and invest into Sixty-Two to use this new Mixer with The Bridge as well.
If there is a bug with a latency issue on Mixtape function using a 62 with the Bridge, do you have an idea how fast this could be fixed?

I've done testing with the TTM57, and haven't had any issue with the latency on it. I've logged this as a specific bug with the Sixty-Two.
If you are having any issues with a TTM57 start a new thread and we will help there
As of now i cant tell when this will be fixed, i have contacted Rane and we will work together to resolve this.

Was this ever fixed? Purchasing a new mixer when Tax refunds roll around and this was one of the biggest reasons I was thinking about getting a 62, as a matter of fact it's the only reason I keep coming back to the 62 over three other mixers I've been eyeballing and considering heavily.

Three choices that I have been struggling with for my new mixer in order & reasons why.
Rane 62: Ableton recording, mostly the mixtape option & good audio output.

Pioneer DJM-2000 Nexus: Effects choices, can use it with SSL & Traktor, same price range as the 62, midi out & midi mappable plus good audio output.

Denon DN-X1700: Decent effects choices, can use it with SSL & Traktor, midi out & midi mappable plus good audio output.

XONE DB4: Great effects, can use it with SSL & Traktor, midi mappable but not sure I want to save the extra 800 for a mixer that is fantastic but has no midi out & honestly this is just here cause it is a slight thought but no midi out on a mixer near 3 grand is pretty much a big dampener on the choice but just had to be considered.

This is not about 2 channel vs 4 channel or battle mixer vs non battle mixer, this is about bang for my buck without sacrificing audio quality because audio quality, versatility and features are going to sell a product to me faster than anything else. So if Mixtape is not fixed that pretty much rules the 62 out of the equation.

ill test on my 62 in the next week or so... I haven't been recording with the 62 as i did a recording sesh with the lady's 61 back on 2.4.2 i believe and some fader movements weren't even recorded! lol... so i have been plugging in my 57 lately since time is valuable for the radio shows....

I haven't really noticed any delays or messing up with mine, not sure if they fixed it but out of 5 times it was on point and volume levels were fine.

i just tried another hour mix with mixtape function...i think im in my 5th hour editing all of the eq movements and warping ...what a waste of time...how can this be sold as a feature.
