effects upgrade for the 57sl?

Any possibility for an upgrade to the effects on this mixer? I mean when using it in standalone mode, without a laptop. That's the only thing preventing me from buying this beast of a mixer.

effects have been upgraded 3 times already with each major release of SSL

Yes but I would like to know if all of these new effects are usable in standalone mode without a laptop.???

All the effects can be used without a laptop however you can only use two at a time and you need a laptop to select which effects you want to use.
