Say the setup is 2 1200's and a ttm57.
Can anyone that would usually have a ssl1 still use scratchlive on their laptop without having to connect a ssl1? I would hat to have to disconnect my 57 to accomidate them because they dont have proper drivers installed..........
Please help!

i mean would they have to hook up their ssl1 even if i have a ttm57?
what if they dont have the drivers for the 57 on their laptop?

macs are plug and play...pc's require a ttm57sl driver which is downloaded on this site. once that driver is installed correctly you're good to go.

you can also daisy chain your SL1 through your ttm57, kinda defeats the whole purupse tho, unless you're switching djs.

can you tell me or give me an example on how to daisy chain?

Just put the 57 drivers on a flash drive or something, and install them before he connects the laptop. Shouldn't be a problem.

turntables into your SL1 box, connect all of your SL1 outputs to the inputs on your ttm57. connect your laptop to the 57, connect the other djs laptop to the SL1 (this way you're still able to use the onboard functions of the mixer...the other DJ won't be able to since he's connected to the SL1 box). voila. all you gotta do when switching laptops is flip the input selectors.

it's really easy.
