song preppend

AKIEM 10:07 PM 7 November 2005
I think someone made this suggestion, I couldnt find it tho...

I think it would be cool to have I file [or a couple selectable files] that preppend[or append] to whatever song you load and show up on the vinyl.
For example you make a file that has a bunch of scratches, soundfonts, whatever you always use, and it gets mapped to the beginning part of the vinyl whatever song you select.

OR as part of the multi song mapping function, it could be set so that a particular file is always mapped first. [or last]

This is a good idea, ive thought about that before myself.

If we could have a song that sits at the front of the vinyl (or end) no mater what we load it would be excellent for scratches and name drops. If we could have separate cues for it we wouldnt really need a 'Sampler'.

I would put put a one min file with all my scratches, some drum loops, air horns....

yup. +1 also could be used as an emergency if you couldn't find a track and needed some filler time-?

Im thoroughly convinced that this would be better and the answer to any sampler we would ever want

no, it wouldn let you play a sample over a mix, but whatever

just have to sort out how the cues work

I should have put SAMPLER in topic

Sweet idea! I agree 'bout the sampler too - this would trump that for me

just imagine if you always had your scratches on the record always available - just move the needle to the track.
