HAS ANYONE EVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH A MAC, WHERE IF YOU PLUG YOUR USB IN THE MIXER AND YOUR COMPUTER GIVES YOU A MESSAGE TO RESTART IN 4 OR 5 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? COULD YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

that sounds like a kernel panic to me. It's not often that happens but it can be a sing of either faulty hardware or software.

have you recently installed anything new (ram? optical drive? new hard drive?)

A few things to try: (back your shit up first)
1) run memtest (a free program) to see if you are pulling any errors with your ram
2) do a "repair disk" in os x
3) if you can find your panic.log (it's in Library/logs) and post it that might help as well.

You may need to update the firmware on your 57 using a different computer. I did this with a PC and fixed this problem with my mac.
