oh ok, wasn't aware of line level turntables. Just saw it there when using my S5000's and wondered what would happen if I clicked it. Didn't risk it as was in the middle of a gig!

Well yes, there are line level turntables. I figured you use CD players, cause yes, if you press the 45 button and use CD players, the song will play very slow, since obviously CD players don't have a 45 RPM option (I think?).

Just have to adjust the pitch on the cd player to 45. The CDJ MK3s do that on Vynil mode,I dont know about other cd players .

33 is normal cd players without Vynil Mode. 45 Is for regular Turntables and cd players with Vynil mode. So both serve their purpose.
