flava 3:56 PM - 8 February, 2008
Equipment
TTM 57 SL Mixer
Denon S3500 Cd players
Mac Book Laptop
Lacie Quadra 500 GB Hard Drive
Scratchlive 1.8

Would Appreciate some help. Whenever I start up the Mixer by default i should have the Deck 1 and B1 lights on and it does. However when the mixer is connected to my laptop via USB and i start up Scratchlive 1.8 the Deck 1 light stays on but the B1 light comes off. When i exit Scratchlive the lights return to normal at deck 1 and B1. Sonething is wrong and i need to figure it out because i can use these buttons when i working in serato.

Appreciate your comments our help

When the mixer is not connected to SSL it is in group 6. Chances are you are not in group 6 in SSL.

To fix, fire up SSL then press group B6 on the mixer.

If you want to use the knobs to scroll the crates you need to be in group 1. On the mixer hit group then B1.

If you look on the screen it should tell you what each control does in the group you're in. If you aren't seeing that click on the hardware button.

If you have the hardware tab open, hit the group button on the 57 then the B1 button.

Does that work?

Why do you need it to be on?

The lights server as a status indicator.
