I heard those consolidation things are bad news in general. Search on here for info...there was a thread about them a while back (maybe a year ago?!?).
In any event, good luck getting that stuff straightened out. I know debt is a slippery slope. I've seen so many others screw themselves with debt before...I promised myself I wouldn't get in that situation b/c I see how it can snowball (no misquote)
ya once you gone deep into it, theres nothing u can do to come out clean.... 24 months and i should be debt free.. but my credit score will look like complete ass bag.

I own about 65% of my house but I have $25,000 on credit cards (business loans) and a $17,000 loan for my wife's 4runner.(however I do own my Acura and the other 4runner)
I'm working on paying down. but I say fuck debt, I'm only gonna live once, I'm not really using the cards anymore. OK I lied - I just put on a trip to Disney for the family.
