I am using a Phono Plug to 1/4" Stereo Phone Jack Adapter to RCA to hook up my booth outputs as another rca output, but the sound is coming out very low and distorted..is there any reason why its coming out distorted? am i using the wrong plugs or is my ttm57 broken??

Get great sound with these quality adapters!
This stereo in-line audio adapter accepts an RCA plug and fits a 1/4" stereo jack. Keep handy for custom audio connections.

How is this wired internally? Why is it a stereo 1/4" jack?
Either the ring isn't connected or it's shorted to the sleeve or the tip. Some of these scenarios will work some won't.

+1. Are you positive you picked up the stereo jack and not a mono one?

better use a mono-adapter for each channel, maybe you have some trouble with the symetric signal

lol mono would be better...1 RCA cable is always mono. you can't send 2 channels to one input and not lose quality.
