Export Ableton Warp Markers as Beatgrid

The Funky Bunch 11:48 PM - 6 June, 2012
What if there was a plug in for Ableton Live that allowed us to export warp markers as a Beatgrid? It would be ideal if this feature worked with both Itch and Scratch Live.

With this tool, I think many Itch users' (myself included) thirst for The Bridge would quenched.

The current work-around is to warp your tracks, export, and reload into Serato for Beatgridding.

It would be cool, but I doubt very much that we'll see any changes to the Ableton functionality until Live 9 eventually drops... Sometime hopefully this decade!

In the meantime, surely if you've warped a track in Ableton it should be rock solid, and only need the first downbeat marker in Serato software anyway, no?

This topic is requested so much that it's on both Serato and Ableton's FAQ.

That would be pretty sweet.

Wow this is an amazing idea. I can't believe i never see it before. But sad i cant see a bridge update coming, serato in the past hint when projects are being worked on, I'm fairly certain a joining of SSL and Serato DJ will be coming before the bridge gets even started.

Wait, is this a hunch or do you have real evidence? That would actually be pretty rad- pardon my use of the word rad.
