i cant get the parameter to change on the echo. it stays locked on x1 and cuts the sound when i try to change it. anyone have this problem? what can i do to fix this?

Your joystick is in transform mode (green LED off). Push the joystick into the mixer and hold it for half a second and the light will turn on, then you'll be able to adjust the multiplier.

have you updated to the latest version of SSL

AND updated the firmware for the mixer?
