SO I CHECKED MY FACEBOOK AND HAD THIS IN MY INBOX...

'thought you would be the best person to ask

i have my first big gig in a club and they have pioneer cdjs
i use virtual dj and i dont have a clue how to use cdjs, is it literately just take my mac and plug into there mixer and it addaps or is it more complicated than that? appreciate the help mate'


this is why i hate virtual dj.....no knowledge of djing or skill required...

has anyone else had any really stupid questions that stand out from so called "dj's"

I has some kid I don't know or ever met telling me to sell him a playlist of songs he heard me spin, I was like I don't use a play list.. Anyhow back to your question you should of told him its really easy, so when he gets there he doesn't have a clue what he is doing lol

I never had that but damn... if you ever had a portal where you can stick your hand through and slap that dude in the back of the head... this would be the ideal time to use it.

lol. kinda makes you think if a dj doesn't doesn't even know how to setup a standard setup. how did they even learn. practice lol

I don't blame this on Virtual DJ. I think your hate is misplaced because, honestly, the exact same thing can be done with Traktor (or even Deckadance or Mixx).

I blame that on a lack of training, no knowledge of setup, no knowledge of equipment or how it works, and the promoter / owner who actually booked him (and was probably looking for a guy they could get for absolute minimal cost).
