A moderator can possibly answer this first...
Is there going to be custom color panelling for the ttm57sl in the near future?

And can someone tell if they ever traveled with their Rane mixer. Any hassels at the airport? Any horror stories? Do you put it in a bag or case etc etc etc? Do tell.

I'm asking because I'm flying to San Francisco and have never flown with any dj equipment, and I'd like to take my mixer and laptop.

Yeah I toured europe with one as carry on in its own custom flight case and the only problem I had was comin back from Heathrow on the last flight of the tour where they made me put it under the plane cause of the strick 1 bag on board rule.
(I had my laptop and records and kp3 in the other bag so had to take that on board).
You can do the old "its a musical instrument" and they are very helpful...

Yo Dizz, dope show on your youtube movie. What kind of midi trigger pads are you using in there? Looks you have one 16pads midi controller above your mixer and another one on the left of the mixer.
Can't figure out the brandname and type. What are you using?

Its a trigger finger on the mixer controllin ableton and on the left is a kaoss pad 3 doin delays etc.
Its a wicked effects unit!
Super fun and easy to use!

On the custom panel question, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, reason being that the 57 is put together in a different way to the 56 so you can't easily remove the whole top plate.
They could make coloured panels for the bottom section covering the faders, but I think it would look a bit weird if only that bit different.

bottom plate is too small to look fresh a dif color - mho
