How do you get your music to play continously without physically loading tracks by track ? I want it to play music on it's own without me loading the track .

Click the auto button at the top of the screen. Go into a crate or playlist and load the first song to either deck, play it, then it will automatically keep loading the next song in the crate/playlist after the song(s) finish.

Hi Smokin Butch,

Exactly what Konix said (Thanks mate!)

The "AUTO" button at the top of the screen is Autoplay mode. This plays through all the tracks in a playlist without you having to load tracks.

Hope this helps you out!
Cheers!

I also just upgraded to 2.4.1.
I'm using Windows 7
On a PC
Primarily use an SL1

I don't know if I'm retarded but there no longer is an "Auto" button on the top of the screen. I used to be able to just have serato plugged in and have tunes play w/out me having the box plugged in, now it will hang on to a tune forever even after its been played and I have to manually move the next tune. Does it need to be hooked up to a box for this to work or am I just missing something?

Hi there Mizeyesis,

Can you please attach a screenshot of your Scratch Live window?

And what happens when the track ends, does it just keep playing silence? Does the timer continue to run while nothing plays? If so, this is a bug in 2.4.1 that only a few users seem to be getting. We have released a public beta (2.4.2) that addresses this issue if you are interested, but i must note that using a beta version is usually recommended for advanced users. Let me know if you would be interested in trying this beta.

But if you could send that screenshot through that would be great,
Cheers :)

Yes, this is a bug in the offline player (no hardware connected) in 2.4.1.

2.4.2 area and download can be found here... serato.com

No worries, check out the link that Konix posted to find the 2.4.2 public beta version, or you can find it here > serato.com but please make sure you read the entire thread before downloading.

Remember, this is a pre-release software version, so use it at your own risk!
Before the beta, please ensure that you have backed up your data!
