my serato gets its first outing

Used my serato today for the first time....It was a EA Games instore at a local 'hip hop shop' in glasgow,scotland featuring UK MC Skinnyman.

was various DJ's,beatboxers & MC's there so didn't play for long, mainly just cutin.

no probs at all , even used tracks straight from CD.

some photos here... no pic's of me as the camera was in my pocket all day.. :)

nice

first time i used mine out was last friday, dj'd at and for an RA the Rugged Man show here in Vancouver. so fun, worked flawlessly!

why do people mark their control records?

markers are on the records so you can still skratch & double/wind back without looking at the screen.

best not to ask whats under the counter ;-)

forgot to say they instore was to promote EA Games hip hop workshops & competition to get featured on a track which will appear on a EA game.

you guys still working in club y? actually i think its club red now.i see yous are doing your thing in above and beyond. hows that going? the clubs loooking nice but itll always be the retunda...i see they are gona be holding a dj comp in there soon.. jonny will try anything to get the punters in :P

(bunty does edinbrugh once a month too)

we are looking to start a monthly night in glasgow (probably classic grand)

everybody i spoke to says the sound aint too good in there but i canny comment personally.

you thought of club 69 in paisley?ive not personally been but apparently its two girls that run it they are from the gibby or the port. you also have the soundhouse which do varios different nights.

yeah i read in the telegraph last week about your gigs yous have on at the moment. bunty still teaching in james watt? ive got an interview on 8th jan for teaching kids djaying in glasgow.fingers crossed i get it
