62 is a dope mixer. it works fine with serato video but you'll need to midi map everything. not like the 57 where there was a video group. not really a biggie because the latest beta unlocks the sixty-two's midi layers. so you can make a custom layer for video.
i'm not a big fan of SV's transitions, effects and the UI for transitions/effects. when you map to the effects, scrolling and selecting is a pain in the ass. another thing that you can't do is save your favorite transition or effect as preset so you don't have to scroll through the list again.
love the 62 as a mixer. it's difficult to go back to using a 57 or a pioneer. my favs: individual channel filters, per channel flex fx routing (even mic and usb aux has flex fx), split cue, dedicated controls for auto/manual looping/cues/samples/library, usb soundcard capability, individual channel cue, usb aux, better fx and fx control.
but serato video...hated it.
