Within the _Serato_ folder (on the External HD) is there a Subcrates folder and does this folder have all your Crate Files within it?

yes it has all my crates on it...

Hmm wierd. It should be uploading those crates then. Is the _Serato_ names exactly that? Is it located on the root of the drive?

by root of the drive u mean the main screen yes ... if by names u mean is the folder _Serato_ named that yes it is ... Another wierd thing is that every time i try to close scratch live it freezes

but it only freezes when i have the hard drive plugged in .., I prey i do not have to du all that work over ., but its strange cause the crates are all there... Also it loades up some crates that must be on my Computers hard drive some where but i cant find them

OK ... So ... 1) i thought i could fix the problem by erasing the _serato_ folder of my computers hard drive and replace it with the saved on my removable HD .. That did not work it kept saying something about folder names wont allow it to be replaced... 2) i tried just Adding the crates and sub crates folders from my removable HD , that worked but all my crates were out of order and i had to relocate all the lost files (Also the ALL crate would only show songs no artist , bpm or any other views which was very odd) ., it was only saved up to my very last session that i guess was saved to the portable hard drive ., i re organized then thought i was good ., BUT then it froze on me again when i tried to close out serato SL , and presto on re-opening everything gone again!!!!

What i Observed: 1) i noticed for some reason even after deleting the serato folder from my computers HD , it would suddenly reappear everytime which seemed pretty viral., what's that all about? 2) after moving the crates and subcrates folders to the computers HD , force quitting , and re-openning i noticed the subcrates folder was still there but everything in it erased, the crates folder seemed to stay entact but none of them load on the SSL crates screen 3) One way or the other the program keeps freezing when i attempt to close it when the hard drive is attached what is that about??? N correct me if im wrong but i thought mac's were un effected by virus's???

PLEASE HELP I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT GIG SATURDAY N IT WILL SUCK IF I CANT GET THIS RESOLVED ... PLEASE HELLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like you have corrupt Crates or corrupt Music Files causing the Program to crash.

Basically the Scratch Live program will only read the _Serato_ folder located on the ROOT of the external HD.

So it sounds like you need to let it read each _Serato_ folder you have - ONE by ONE untill you find the one that gives you the good crates and a good looking Library. Once you find that _Serato_ folder --- we can bring your Library back.

hey u are wrong bruh ., i called it and ., all i needed to change was the 2 to a 3 on the database file ... that's what was causing all the trouble .. please research ., thank god that guy gave me the answer cause you would have had me pissed bruh ., but thanks anyway.... I have a new problem though.....

my tracks keep starting in the middle of the track why is that? and how can I rememdy that issue?

This is what drove me to consider Corrupt Files as the issue. This is too inconsistent and should have not had an effect if the DatabseV2 file on the External was the issue. All you did was import the Crates from the External to the Internal HD. So it should have worked just fine but it crashed on Exit.
