I recently purchased a new computer running Windows 7 O/S and I'm not familiar with the new partition on the hard drive; (OS (C:) and DATA (D:) (old system runs XP...)
I've loaded my music to the new laptop and it dumped everything into the "OS" partition... Since the DATA partition is much larger in memory size should I copy it to the Data partition?
This might be more of a Windows O/S question so I apologize in advance.

You want the program and all of its Files to install on the Main Drive. You can store all your Music on the 2ndary drive if you want.

Did you Windows computer come with a stock partitioned drive?
How much available storage space is available on the C: drive and the D: drive partition?

I don't have 2 drives... I have a single drive that's been partitioned into 2 sections. One is labeled "OS (C:)" it has 120 gig available. The other section is labeled "Data (D:)" and has 153 gig available.
This is similar to what my old HP did except the partition was for the restore option and was not available for memory unless you hacked it.

If you have a partitioned drive - then you have 2 drives.
Again, Scratch Live will install everything it needs into the Primary Drive. Leave this as is.
If you want - you can move your Music to the other drive (or any other drive for that matter) and it will still Import into the Scratch Live Program without a problem.
Just do not try to move the actual Instalation Files for Scratch Live. This will cause issues.
